I stayed at Society Hostel in Thamel from April 5th to 6th, and it turned out to be a really pleasant experience. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore nearby cafes, shops, and nightlife. The atmosphere at the hostel is warm and social, true to its name. It’s a great place to meet fellow travelers, whether you’re sharing stories in the common area or just relaxing after a long day of exploring Kathmandu. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready with recommendations or assistance. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you’d expect from a backpackers hostel. Despite being in a busy area, the environment was surprisingly peaceful at night, allowing for a good rest. Overall, Society Backpackers Hostel is a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable, friendly, and well-located stay in Thamel. I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.
