    Stayed here twice during my Nepal trip (before and after trekking). Location is perfect for exploring the main centre via foot. Friendly staff. Clean rooms with hot showers and good water pressure (compared to a 4-star hotel I stayed down the road). Affordable.

    I stayed here for 2 nights before my EBC trek and was gonna return for another 2 nights after. When my Lukla flight got cancelled, I asked if they could bring forward a night from my later booking and they very graciously did so with no issues. Every reception staff I’ve met have been very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and generally clean (slight improvement in cleanliness to the bedsheets and towels can be improved!). Hot shower is readily available. 2 bottles of water are provided upon checking in. There is no elevator and rooms at the end of the corridor has traffic noises especially during peak periods - doesn’t bother me but might be consideration for others! All in all, I highly recommend Checkpoint KTM and I’ll definitely return if I visit Kathmandu in the future. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant :-)
