The hostel is in a good location. The room is spacious, the bed is comfy and it is clean enough. The guys at the reception are OK. Price is really good.
Unfortunately in my room was no AC, so I couldn't heat it, so even in the night was a bit cold. When you pay by credit/debit card they charge you extra the commission for the bank, they do that everywhere in Nepal but it is just unpleasant. A good option would be if the commission is 4% we could divide it by 2, so I pay 2% and you pay 2%, that would be fair...

Perfectly located on the outskirts of Tamel, Birds Nest Hostel offers a chill, but central experience.
Never have I seen the term Deluxe been misused so hard, but it does not really matters, and the room gives you exactly what you pay for! In the end it do not really matter, becasue the strength of this hostel lay in its common areas and the Local boys that frequens to the secret rooftop who offers good conversations and an amazing sunset!
Food is also pretty good here.

Great location and lots of shared space to chill in.
Room was a bit cramped and not very convertible. Toilet was open at the top so not very much privacy. Staff were a little short.
