the heating didn’t work for a little while but the gentleman on the phone was really helpful and we managed to get it working

The space fairly clean and the linens smelled wonderfully fresh. The unit offers more than enough amenities, utensils, and thoughtful little touches, which we truly appreciated. It’s also quite spacious, and it’s clear that a lot of effort has been put into making it comfortable.

The building and the unit are older, which shows in some areas (especially the bathroom). While the unit felt welcoming inside, we felt uneasy in the surrounding neighbourhood. During our stay there was a noticeable smell of marijuana in the area, and on our second day a crowd set up a tent in the complex with loud music; at night, people passed by making loud noises. This impacted the sense of peace and quiet a bit. Additionally, the outdoor space could benefit from more upkeep, as we noticed some webs and trash lying around.
