Miricia Guest House

The location is amazing and the friendly welcome great.

It was a peaceful stay at Miricia guest house, well located in a quiet area not far from the castle. The room I booked was not suitable for me very confined, and the owner very kindly changed it for me to a larger room which was vacant, we had also left mobile charger at home and he gave us one of his own such a kind welcome! The room itself had all we required for 3 night stay, coffee, tea, and biscuits great. Other guests were very quiet, I didn't hear any noise after 9.30 pm, which was what I was looking for, mainly peace and quiet. All the staff are really helpful, Zoe & Shelley thank you also. Good location peaceful, a bit of a walk to main beach area, however a pleasant walk. Great little seaside town. Would deffinatly book again.

The location was great. Parking was a nightmare but they gave you a permit for the stay but finding a space took ages. We were in height of season. Room small but clean. Bedding could have been much better, pillows very thin. Some decent sheets/cotton bedding would much improve the stay, especially in this hot weather. The carpet in bedroom had a few stains which was off putting. Towels were large and very white top marks. If breakfast could have been booked it would have been a plus but on the whole not a bad experience at all. Staff seemed very pleasant when seen. When we arrived there were a few couples waiting to check in and nobody on the property but they did arrive quite promptly.

Bedding was like old nylon sheets and pillows thin,

Only one hand towel between two people no bath towels, rusty bathroom fittings, horribly stained carpets
