Miera iela studio apartment

A very pleasant, spacious, airy and comfortable apartment. I was a little apprehensive about the bed/settee but needn't have been as it was most comfortable I've ever slept on. Tram stop and convenience store 1 minute away and an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and larger supermarket 7 minutes walk. 15 minute tram ride into town or to Mezaparks (and zoo) 15 minutes in opposite direction. Bean to cup coffee machine (stocked) was a welcome bonus. Host was communicative and responded promptly to a text enquiry. The apartment and its quiet, convenient location played a big part in my wonderful week in Riga.

A lot of clutter in cupboards, unnecessary crockery and utensils and left over dry foods.

A cosy little place at a great location. Everything possibly needed was there. And the bed was awesome. :D Not much else to say, really. It isn't a fancy hotel, nor did I expect one. It was like what a good AirBNB should be - a nice place that feels like home from the first minute.

Took me a while to find the right house in the street, but might have just been me. Also, hot water ran out in the middle of the shower. It's been a while since that happened to me. Perhaps the tank is a tad small.
