Wonderful Homestay

The hosts were super communicative and friendly to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed. It was lovely and warm and clean, everything we possibly needed was available. A cute personal touch they left us chocs and bubbles as a Wedding Anniversary treat. X

Ideal location for any purpose

Location and facilities. Sam is an excellent host. I liked the location as my work and all the major shops and restaurants were round the corner.

Absolutely brilliant hosts - highly recommend - so welcoming, great conversationalists but equally respectful of privacy

Lovely setting with a very tranquil park with paved paths just opposite the front door and which has a very attractive pond full of ducks, swans, and other wildlife. Stunning setting for a morning run or an early evening sunset stroll. Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen areas superbly appointed and spotlessly clean. Bedroom really comfortable too. 😊

Not a dislike, but an appreciation that the back garden is still a work in progress. The owners only moved in recently - so the current slightly untidy view through the bedroom patio doors will only get better and better over time - as the obviously very green-fingered gardener works his garden magic. Based on progress so far, it will be gorgeous in the spring and summer, of that I have no doubt.

The location was lovely and quiet. Communication was good and we felt very welcome there and looked after. The accommodation is new so everything is in good condition, nice and clean with a lovely omfortable bed. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again. Thank you Sam and Adam.

Would prefer a lock on the bedroom door. I couldn’t get the radiator to turn on but that could have been user error.

Adam.and sam were welcoming, pleasant, helpful and genuinely lovely people. The accommodation was clean,comfortable, excellently stocked with everything you could need. The space was beautifully decorated and the garden was stunning to relax in. Parking was provided as was WiFi. I couldn't recommend staying here more. Great location with links to many areas of interest

Amazing!

Sam and Adam were brilliant hosts. Very accommodating. Nothing too much trouble - asked if we needed anything when popping to the shop, and also brought us amazing homemade cheesecake! Felt like we were staying with friends, yet not "in your face". The dogs were an added bonus! The bed was the best, and the shower was amazing.

Having to leave at the end of the stay! Please adopt us!

Lovely clean warm welcoming very understanding couple I would definitely recommend. Went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Just a little short break that me and my son needed after going through a hard time. Was so lovely to relax.

Little gem with a lakeside view.

Adam and Sam were excellent hosts,providing a warm welcome into the lower floor of their home.Located on the outskirts of Newport, it provided easy access to town,Rodney Parade and the M4.In addition to a really comfy bed,small kitchen and our own bathroom,we stepped outside the property to a lovely lake across the road for a morning walk. We would definitely stay here again!!Highly recommend a visit 👌

Clean, peaceful, and amicable. This place is one of the best experiences I have had in a while.

I booked my stay at Sam and Adam's house due to a business trip in Newport. The hosts were friendly and helpful from the very beginning to check-out. Upon entering the house, you'd spot top-notch cleanliness, large space (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom all to yourself), and a relaxed atmosphere. I was stressful due to personal reasons, but the comfortable mattress had me sunk into an abstract void, soundless and serene. The kitchen had instant coffee and tea bags prepared, and bathroom space rivals a luxury-hotel level of experience.

That I did not want to get out of bed because the feeling in the room was too good!
