We enjoyed this cabin and its amenities. The pool and hot tub were both very clean and a comfortable temperature. We found the WiFi to be adequate for being in the mountains. We did use a hotspot to stream movies in the theater.
The major reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is an AC issue. The upstairs AC unit did not appear to be working when we arrived. Vacasa did send a repair person out and the unit appeared to blow some air at first. 2 days later it was warm again upstairs and Vacasa came to install window AC units in the 2 bedrooms that did not have them. That seemed to solve the problem! We had bear sightings off the lovely back deck on two occasions. I would definitely stay here again.

This property had gorgeous views and was very clean! The house is about a 10 minute drive up into the mountain. The road is slim and lots of blind curves. But, we got used to it fairly quickly and the views are definitely worth it! The pool was very cold. We found out that it did have a heater, but it was apparently broken during our stay and the pool was leaking water under the house and in the bathroom and hallway on the lower level that we reported to Vacasa. So, we did not get to use the pool much because it was just too cold. The ice maker in the fridge did not work. It made a few pieces of ice everyday and that's it. Not a big deal. We also did find bugs throughout the house. It probably needs to be sprayed for pests. I think the house could use a vacuum cleaner so the occupants could vacuum if need be. With the amount of children in our group, we definitely would have used it! Also, the wifi was very spotty. Trying to stream on the TVs was hard and our phones had trouble connecting. You can't have too many devices connected at once and since this is a big house with likely lots of devices to connect, the Wi-Fi just wasn't up to par. We did get to see several bears walk by the house at night which was so cool! The game room and hot tub were a huge hit! So, overall, the house was just what we needed!

The road leading to the property is narrow—barely enough for two vehicles to pass—and has steep drop-offs. There’s a lot of construction going on in the area, with work trucks parking along the road, adding to the difficulty.The listing was misleading. There was a room labeled as “other” with two sets of bunk beds. From my past VRBO stays, this usually means a game room or shared space. Instead, it turned out to be a bunk bed in one bedroom and a single bed with a trundle in another. Traveling with a large group, I was counting on that extra space for the kids, so this was a disappointment.The dining room is small—the table seats about eight. The outdoor table looks much longer in the listing photos. Realistically, it seats four, maybe five if some are kids.The kitchen is tiny—think first apartment small—and it’s barebones. No pantry staples, not even a salt and pepper shaker. Be prepared to bring everything as if you’re going camping. The pots and pans were a mismatched collection, like things left behind by previous guests. We ended up using the one decent non-stick pan for everything.The pool looks great in the photos, but it’s not heated. It was too cold to enjoy during our stay.On top of that, we lost power during our visit. That meant no water and no working toilets, which was very inconvenient.On the bright side, the kids really enjoyed the video games and table games, The theater room, was a nice feature. We also saw bears near the property.
