About this house rental
Our cozy vacation home is located close to the town center in a neighborhood of single-family homes right on the East Frisia Hiking Trail. It features a large, quiet, south-facing garden with two seating areas, one of which is covered. There, you can enjoy the sun and nature and let your mind wander. In addition to tables, chairs, and a parasol, guests also have access to two folding lounge chairs. In the adjacent area, rabbits and chickens make themselves at home; if desired, they’ll even provide a fresh egg every day. Two parking spaces are available at the house; there’s a shed for bicycles, and facilities for washing and drying laundry are also provided.
In about 15 minutes on foot, you can reach our beautiful downtown area with its many shops, cafes, and restaurants, as well as the Historical Museum and, for children, Miraculum, the interactive museum. A little further on, you’ll find De Baalje, the Aurich water park, and the Aurich harbor. The Ubbo-Emmius Clinic is just 5 minutes away. The North Sea coast and all the major cities of East Frisia—such as Leer, Emden, Norden, Esens, and Wiesmoor—are about 30 km away.

On the first floor of the house is the large, well-equipped kitchen-living room with a refrigerator, glass-ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, blender, toaster, electric juicer, and much more. You can enjoy your meals at the large table overlooking the garden or outside in the adjacent covered seating area. There’s plenty of space for groceries in the pantry. Next to the entryway, which leads to the upper floor, is the large living room with a dining area, a sitting area, and an adjoining sunroom featuring a sitting area and a sleeper sofa. On rainy days, you can watch TV, listen to music, or browse the large bookshelf in the living room. There is a guest restroom on the first floor.
The upper floor features a spacious hallway, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and three bedrooms. From the large room, furnished with a double bed and a mirrored cabinet, you can look out onto the south-facing garden. Two smaller rooms, each with a single bed, nightstand, closet, and chair, are located one facing the front of the house and the other on the east side.
Of course, the beds will be freshly made for your visit, and towels will be provided. In the bathroom, you’ll also find a hair dryer in addition to the makeup mirror.
Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
