Spacious apartment, with nice bathroom in authentic small village. Very clean.

My 74-year-old mother and I had made the reservation detailing dynamics of our party, on booking and prior to payment. We had stated that we would need to use the sofa bed for this reason. Upon arrival at the apartment, there was no bedding available for this but this was quickly rectified by the cleaner arriving with this around 8.30pm. Unfortunately, the sofa bed is actually made up of three un level separate sections, which also consist of a metal bar that goes under ones shoulders. Agreeably this was my personal experience but I found it impossible to sleep on. I don’t feel that it should be used as a bed or listed on the apartment particulars as one, as it is extremely uncomfortable, even to lie on. Although the booklet in the apartment invites feedback, on politely contacting the owner in the morning, to express my experience, I found that they were very defensive, saying that “ you knew one of you would have to sleep on it”, “we see it as an extra, free for a third person”, “if sisters/brothers want to come, I would say they book a place with two beds/bedrooms”. Numerous messages! I was simply hoping for an offer of maybe additional duvets or padding to try and make the sofa bed something I could sleep on! However, eventually, the owner offered for me to use the bed in the apartment that they have next door, which was not booked during the three nights that we were there. I appreciatively, accepted this offer and was able to get a comfortable nights sleep for the remainder of our stay. I would highly recommend if two people, who want to stay there, require separate sleeping arrangements, they book other accommodation. Also, not that it mattered to us but there is no wine or champagne as listed on the apartment particulars. Minimal crockery and kitchen equipment. No toaster or microwave (again personal preference).
