It wasn’t advertised as a shared accommodation. The owner had lied to me and told me no one else was staying and it was all a bit sketchy. Other people living there and up at 4 in the morning with the owner in the house

Great location

Location was ideal for what I required

This isn’t the owners fault, but at 11pm a group came into the house and blasted music all night. It sounded like a bomb was going off until the very early hours. I was staying for work and didn’t sleep at all. I had to do a little cooking on the first night and found the microwave, kettle and cutlery to be sticky and dirty.

The rooms were lockable.

The place was completely different to the photos. They didn't tell me that my room had been switched until I had arrived. There was no privacy, I could hear what was happening in the next room. Ad gave impression that youd get the place to yourself. You do not. The place was in disarray.

Nice room/staff but shower needs fixing

Staff are really nice, responsive and helpful. It's a nice size house with a big garden.

The shower was ice cold and wouldn't heat up. It had a small shower head so it was like a laser. There is also only 1 shower for 4-5 rooms so you may have to wait.

Could be better .

Lounge and kitchen area was very good. Clean , spacious and tidy

Bedroom was somewhat neglected. Cobwebs/ spiders were on the ceiling/ walls. Insects flying around . Mattress was not comfortable. Numerous spiders/ cobwebs in the toilet and this is not difficult to get rid of hence my disappointment.

The house was nice

It wasn't very clean although the bedrooms and towels were . We were under the impression that we were the only guests but two other couples came later on in the evening wich made it very awkward the description was very misleading as we had to share a bathroom. There was a tea towel in the

Bedroom very unclean, bedding looked and felt as it hadn’t been cleaned at all. Ended up leaving early due to this and not spending the night here as we felt itchy and uncomfortable in this bed.

Spacious and modern. Looked freshly decorated Rooms were comfortable Ideal location for our evening at Englefield house, which was a short taxi ride away. Our messages were responded to quickly and were helpful.

We was in room 2, which was next door to the toilet and you can hear everything and someone had a bad stomach by the sounds of things. The rooms are small and what I am guessing is a plug in air freshener completely overpowered the room. The mattress was probably the worst thing I have ever slept on, it feels like sleeping on a sheet of wood, on top of that there was a unplugged heated sheet which you could feel the pipes running through it, I feel really bad because I am not really one to complain but I slept around 2 and half hours, it was so bad we left at around 8am and drove home 100 miles exhausted 3 hours early so we could sleep.

Dissapointing Villa

Ermm, the Sky Box TV was great and free parking

Most of it. Although I could see they try hard with the nice TV & Skybox, modern wardrobe, chest of drawers + modern kitchen, the bed was terrible, very hard and hollow, it looked like someone slept in it the night before, it did not have that crisp sheeting one would expect from a “Villa” and the bathroom and toilet is communal to others in the house. There was building rubble all over the yard, it looked like a building site, (not a “Villa”) it’s clearly very low touch, no host receiving you, (a builder gave me my keys). It’s a get on with it and you can’t cancel. I had to accept it and felt unsafe. In the end, it worked out, grateful I had accommodation, Parking was free, which is great. Place was recently refurbished but not quite on par.
