Reading West Homestay

Great location for Henley & very helpful staff on the reception.

Great quiet end of road location. Very clean. Comfy bed in room 1. Tower fan was great addition in the hot weather. Towels provided. Property was nice and had everything I needed. Owner very prompt in replying and seemed lovely. Great night's sleep. WiFi good. Lots of books to read and kitchen was well stocked with tea, coffee although I brought my own. Loads of crockery and utensils. Everything I needed.

Property a bit tired in places like stair carpet bit worn but nothing bad at all. Must get a lot of footsteps going up and down! Nothing really bad to say at all.

I chose Reading Homestay never it is close to Reading town centre. The car parking facilities are good. Big enough for 3 medium-large sized cars. As opposed to very large ones, 4x4's etc. The communal areas, lounge kitchen and garden are clean shed spacious. The furniture and equipment are in very good condition and modern. There is little more that you could ask for in these areas. I made scrambled eggs, toast and tea quite easily as there is everything you need ( bring your own food. Tea and coffee complimentary) The bathroom upstairs is clean with good condition shower / bath and toilet. Towels and toiletries provided if needed. My room had a medium sized double bed. The mattress was good as was the bedding. I didn't use the TV on the wall. The tower fan was used by me and it is a thoughtful touch in the heat wave we are experiencing. My bedroom has a good sized double window, that I could open fully. Looking out onto the street ahead but no house directly opposite my window - that felt quite private and good. No noise disturbance during the night from outside. Brilliant stay

I didn't find anything to comment on that was negative or that I didn't like

It was good definitely would stay again, nice and quiet.

Some repairs need doing here and there nothing major tho.
