The House is very big and there were lots of areas you can hang out at. The pool and hot tub were the reason why we booked it and they did not disappoint. The living room and kitchen are right below the bedrooms and the pool area is outside where you have to walk outside the house to get to which meant we could be louder in the pool house (snooker table and tv were there) while others were watching tv or sleeping. The area outside is brilliant! We had a bbq and sat with breakfast at the table while the children played cricket.
There were lots of dust and cobwebs around which is expected in some parts of an old house but around the AGA cooker you would expected to be a bit cleaner. The plates, glasses and cutlery had to be cleaned before use as the place where these were kept was quite dirty. This was not a problem but isn’t ideal. The house has many bathrooms but only three have showers and the others have only a bath. We had to rearrange ourselves but ended up sharing 2 shower between 8.

The swimming pool and games room were a huge hit with adults and children alike.
There could be more kitchen cooking utensils and crockery available, we could not find an egg flip, or adequate BBQ tongs.

Fantastic large house for families or friends to spend time together The sports room, hot tub and swimming pool were amazing. Massive garden to, next to nature. Lots of games for us to play, and a great BBQ. Highly recommend.
100% need another fridge, the one there is no where near big enough for the amount of people staying there. Need new frying pans, totally worn out. Did not like how the front door is locked off. This caused confusion when arriving, and when deliveries were made, food shop and take aways.!!

We absolutely loved our stay in Heacham. The village itself is lovely, and the house is in a fantastic location—really close to the beach and local shops, including the Tesco Express on the high street and some great pubs just around the corner. It is also perfectly situated for visiting Hunstanton, and we managed to get to both North and South Beach, where we caught some incredible sunsets. As for the property itself, the space is unbelievable. The garden is fantastic with loads of room for everyone to spread out. We had a brilliant time playing putting golf and spending hours in the swimming pool, which is absolutely amazing. There was plenty of space for everyone to jump in and out without getting in each other's way. The pool house was a massive highlight for us. It features a great snooker table with plenty of balls to play either eight-ball or snooker, and the cues were in really good condition. There is also a dartboard which got plenty of use, and handy fridges to keep your drinks cold (just remember to bring your own!). From the courtyard to the garden, there are things to do. The weather was great, so we enjoyed eating dinner outside. Inside, everything from the kitchen and utility room to the bedrooms and lounge was amazing. The lounge even features a table tennis table. If you get the chance during your stay, a trip to the local church if it is open is well worth it. It is incredibly peaceful and tranquil, and it holds a fascinating history of Heacham that is directly connected to the house itself. No spoilers here, but it is highly recommended! We really, really enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to our next stay.
Ageing garden furniture and maybe more sun beds around the pool as a luxury.
