Primrose Lodge in Maldon

Lovely quiet area, accommodation very clean and comfortable and the host was really helpful and always quick to respond. Nice little touches found on arrival with milk in the fridge plus teabags, coffee, sugar as well as small pots of jam, sauces, salt, pepper. The host also provided washing up liquid, sponges and a tea towel as well as several fresh towels for the bathroom too and shower gel etc. Plenty of room in the apartment for us and our dog and nice to have outside space as a traveller with a dog too. The location is excellent - lovely walk into town and down to the Quay, and a really nice walk along the promenade to the park. The host left information in the apartment re places to visit - we drove to nearby Osea and Burnham on Crouch as recommended in the info pack, and both were lovely. Lot's of great places to eat & drink nearby - plenty of choice and everyone was very welcoming - great if travelling with pets, our little dog was well catered for!

The property is an annex built above the garages of a large house close to Maldon centre. The conversion has been done to a high standard with quality fittings and comfortable furniture. Allocated parking space is provided. Very quiet and private location.

The bathroom is on the ground floor, it is a compact wet room and after using the shower the entire floor is unavoidable wet. It’s a long walk from the bedroom, downstairs to the toilet so not ideal. Storage in the bedroom is very limited.

Great location, well finished facilities, easy to locate and access. Nearby dog walking.

Nice and clean and a very nice meet up with the owner explaining the best local pubs ect to go in for a meal was very helpfull will definitly come again
