Soin Westlake Apartment

I absolutely loved my stay at this apartment. Fully equipped including pots and pans and lots of dishes, a big fridge & freezer, huge comfortable bed, quiet and strong aircon. Lots of space to store your stuff. Huge TV with AirPlay and WiFi that is strong enough to make it a great experience. Small balcony that let's you see sunlight and step into fresh (well, Hanoi...) air. Bathroom is spacious with a very hot and strong shower. Location is on a quiet side-road with very little traffic noise, while restaurants, supermarkets, and all kinds of sellers are just steps away. Communication was fast, easy, and polite. Although I haven't met any of the people running the place, I always felt I was dealing with kind and generous people.

It isn't near any tourist activities, so if that's your focus better bring your own transportation or be prepared to frequently call Grab. It is about 15-20 minutes by scooter to the Old Quarter.

Would be a 10 but first night the aircon was broken which made it impossible to sleep - contacted owner and she got back to me quickly and was very helpful and responsive - moved us into a new (and more expensive room at no charge) for our second night which was really nice

Probably if you make sure that your apartment is one of the highest (mine was 4th floor without balcony) you will have a batter experience. It was cheap. No tourist. Local neighbourhood

The room was not what I expected. Location far from centre. You can only move using grab. I couldn’t fall asleep because there was a terrible and loud noise, like a water pump or a hot water boiler engine motor running. Plus, the walls were thin and I heard unpleasant sounds from the neighbour.
