Traditional Inveraray Cottage - Amazing Loch Views

Location was fantastic, convenient to town. Original features still in the property. Bed was really comfy! The log burner was great and it has fantastic water pressure. We used it as a base, it’s was functional and practical for what we needed.

We stayed in February and the weather was bitterly cold. According to the guest book no one had stayed in there for a while so the house didn’t have a lived in heat. When we arrived the house was cold, the thermostat pre set. It was possible to over ride but this took a while to warm up. The fridge was off so again took a while to get to temperature. We had to use the log burner to generate heat, there were enough logs for the first night and we were given one fire lighter. We bought logs from Londis, cost us £30 for two bags and a bag of kindling. Kitchen facilities are basic but all work. There is no freezer. None of the knives were sharp. You might want to carefully consider if you wanted to use it for a foody get away and cook yourselves. The tap broke, we contacted the agent who sorted it out and they were really easy to get hold of and to deal with.

Mycket bra område, lugnt och skönt att utgå ifrån och enkelt att få parkering. Massa att göra i omgivningen både gångavstånd och kort resa med bil. Perfekt för barnfamilj med lite äldre barn. Mysigt boende med vackra detaljer. Bra service och hjälpsamma värdar.

Ett frysfack hade varit bra om man vistas lite längre, men det fanns en Coop på gångavstånd så det var väldigt praktiskt, i synnerhet om man har bil. Hade gärna haft tillgång till en bänkdiskmaskin och en tvättmaskin. Men det gick bra ändå.
