Everything: from the warm welcome when we arrived in the rain to their incredibly kind generosity both to us and Lyra, we couldn’t recommend this any more highly. The rooms are very comfortable, the sitting room overlooking the loch a joy and super cosy plus an excellent breakfast.

Thistle House was a delight! Sue and Avril were so attentive and kind, and clearly loved what they had created in the House. We did too! It was stunning. We felt safe, warm and comfortable. Everything was clean and well appointed. We didn’t want for anything. It was definitely well worth the extra bit of driving.
