Such a special place! A completely unique experience - it really felt like we had stepped into another world. It is set in a lovely location, with stunning countryside views and a beautiful Japanese garden. We'd highly recommend paying extra for the Onsen bath and the dining experience - the food was absolutely top class and made it such a memorable experience! The hosts are so lovely, too. Would 100% recommend!
There were three of us and the only thing I'd change was the third bed - it was a little thin so not quite as comfortable. But other than that, everything was perfect.

Totally unique experience. Beautifully furnished and styled. Delightful, tranquil garden . Incredibly relaxing setting. The food was out of this world, the presentation was impeccable and the taste of the dishes was perfection.
I hesitate to write anything negative whatsoever as we loved our stay however we felt there could have been a bit more attention to housekeeping

The location was lovely and peaceful (apart from the workman in the garden!)
Floor and surfaces sticky; unclean cooking utensils; out of date milk in fridge; wifi only worked in far end of property;had to ask for a hairdryer which was delivered a few hours later; saw a large rat come into the garden from under the lounge/sleeping area; bathroom was incredibly tiny; very uncomfortable small bed.
