Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food and lots of it. Great location with views of all sides of the mountain though the climb up the side away from the head of the pass was definitely the prettiest. Goat herd that came up to hang out in front of the hut every evening.
Nothing - we visited another hut (Erjavceva koca na Vrsic) for coffee on one of our hikes and the contrast was stark. It’s the people that make the difference.

Spectacular views from the outside of the house. Clean room and great experience overall. It was scarry to drive there by car though 😀
3 mins of hot water per person, so it's enough only for your body, not hair.

Excellent place. Love the alpine hiking vibe. The drive up with the car was challenging, make sure to be prepared for that.
