Lovely mountain hut experience

Charming mountain hut in a stunning setting! Anyone ok with modesty and 3 minute showers (which we were) will love it here.

It was pretty cold in our room during the night.

Beautiful place with great staff

Location is stunning. Excellent, friendly, and accommodating staff. Tasty good value food. N.b. there is a 10-15 walk uphill to the property from parking (although staff very kindly picked us up when it was raining with our bags + dropped us back down)

Not adequate number of toilets and showers for the number of guests which are there at capacity. Given 1 shower token despite booking two nights and hot water turned off early whilst one of us was showering (even though token hadn't run out).

Lovely, lovely, lovely

A friendly, super clean, efficient Mntn hut right at the top of Vrsic pass, 15 minutes up a gravel road by foot. Dinner food was great & staff were so friendly and welcoming!

So wished breakfast would have been served earlier at 0630 instead of 0700 as the Vrsic pass closed at 0730-1700 and guests were rushing to get out in time (prior to 0700) to their cars before the road closed due to construction work.
