It walkable after we figured out the location. Our view of the Matterhorn was partially obstructed by a crane but you have to endure for sake of the future. We loved the patio overlooking the town.
Expensive cab fee to get there. Over $25 to go just a few miles. Incline of the hill to walk to our rental was tough on us old folks but we managed it.

Incredible location with views to the Matterhorn. The appartment had everything we needed to cook breakfast plus the coffee machine got us going in the morning ready for skiing. Plenty of storage in the ski room. Easy walking distance to ski lifts and town. Host was so easy to communicate with and check in/out was very detailed in explanation.
Look it isn’t on a road directly so you have to walk up a decently steep path to get to the studio. But for the price comparatively to everything else in Zermatt I think it’s worth the slight hassle. Have grippy shoes, pack light and you’ll be fine.

The climb. It was way too high for us. The grade and vertical climb were exhausting (not their fault) I should have looked into it more before booking
