The Coastal Gateway, 3 bedrooms, 5 beds,, central location

The property is conveniently situated close to the centre of Eastbourne, 5 minutes' walk from the shopping centre and 10-12 minutes from the pier/sea front. The bedrooms (all on the first floor) are relatively spacious) with good storage space for clothes etc. There is a fully equipped kitchen on the 2nd floor along with the bathroom and a small living area. The washing machine is close to the entrance on the ground floor.

There was only one bathroom/toilet which was located on the second floor. All the bedrooms were on the first floor and thus going to the bathroom meant climbing some very steep, narrow stairs. This was not easy, especially in the middle of the night ! Parking in Eastbourne is a nightmare and very confusing. We were supposed to receive daily parking permits, but we only received for 2 days even though we stayed for 6 nights. Even so, you still have to find a free space as there is no dedicated parking for the property. We ended up having to move our vehicle around during the day as paid parking (which is also costly) is only for 2 hours with no return allowed within 2 hours. I felt that the property could have provided an explanation of the parking in the area (as well as daily permits for every day of our stay) including explaining where "Free public parking is possible at a location nearby" as advertised on the website but which I believe just isn't possible. There were no instructions for the television, and we were unable to find BBC or ITV. The casual seating in the small living area is very limited. There were some evenings when the area was quite noisy, even after 22h00.

I liked how clean it was and the beds

Maybe if there can out another toilet downstairs

The location is good ,and the facilities were okay
