Spring Valley Farm

A beautiful and peaceful place with a soul surrounded just by fields and trees, you almost fell like back in time

Location was perfect for a quiet get away with extended family. Kids loved the outdoor space

This farmhouse is in a fantastic location. Spacious with plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children to spread out. It could have ben cleaner but that would have been a challenge as the house was full of the owners belongings and memorabellia. Sadly the freezer and dish washer had been out of action for some time and there didn't appear to have been any effective effort to fix these.

Faulty appliances should have been fixed and a water softener installed to handle extremely hard water.

Location was amazing. The house is lovely and the views out of the huge front windows are gorgeous. We never sat in the main lounge, preferring to sit in the sun room. Underfloor heating kept us warm through into the evening. The house was generally clean, bedding and towels clean and communication with the owner was easy. We had a lovely few days stay here and the minor issues mentioned in the negatives below did not dent our enjoyment.

The furniture is a bit old and tired, particularly the beds. The shower upstairs was really poor. The house generally could do with a bit of a update. Sadly we needed to put a load of the glasses and crockery straight in the dishwasher when we arrived as it was really dirty and greasy. An easily resolved issue but a bit annoying.
