Golden Dunes Retreat, Dog-Friendly Stay at Par Sands Holiday Park, Cornwall

We stayed for a week with our two children and our dog and had a wonderful stay. The beachfront location is absolutely beautiful, and the grounds are impeccably maintained. It’s a very peaceful area with a strictly observed quiet time, which we really appreciated. The absence of an on-site clubhouse also helped maintain the calm and relaxing atmosphere. The caravan was immaculate and exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed with thoughtful gifts on arrival, including chocolates and drinks for the children. The tea bags and pint of milk waiting in the fridge were such a lovely touch after a long journey. The beds were incredibly comfortable—possibly even more comfortable than our own at home! The bedding felt luxurious, and the pillows were of hotel quality, making for a fantastic night’s sleep. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and had absolutely everything we could have needed during our stay. Every detail had clearly been considered to make guests feel comfortable and at home. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing coastal getaway.

The only minor downside for us was the lack of a vacuum cleaner. With two children, a dog, and being right on the beachfront in Cornwall, sand inevitably found its way into the caravan. Sweeping it up with just a dustpan and brush was quite challenging during our six-day stay. That said, this was a very small issue in what was otherwise a fantastic holiday.

Great place, everything you need and even more, very clean and well equipped, you could not ask for more, plus lovely Easter surprise waiting for us, great location, close to the beach , lots of walking paths, very close to Eden Project and beautiful places around. Great owner, nothing too much trouble, great communication, very friendly staff at the park , nice pub down the road. We had amazing stay.

It was a beautifully decorated home, very stylish and comfortable. A good range of kitchen appliances to help prepare meals, including an air fryer. It was very dog friendly with all doggies needs taken in to consideration. An excellent location just off the main beach. Brilliant

I couldn’t say that there was anything I didn’t like.
