Great place

Perfect stay, remote, yet close to everything you need! Hosts kept in touch to make sure the stay was as comfortable as possible. Spacious and well cared for accommodation with all the little touches. Will definitely be back :)

Perfect, short little getaway

Clean, modern and comfortable. Owners communication was quick and helpful. My partner got to pet a horse too which made his day!

Amazing, spectacular and spacious.

Stunning apartment, had everything you need, very peaceful, and spacious. Fantastic hosts and good value for money. The fire was an extra bonus, as it was a cold weekend, would definitely stay again and will recommend to family and friends.

Cobstone Cottage hit the spot for us

The location, if you're after a quiet comfortable getaway in beautiful surroundings this ticks all the boxes and is definitely the place to go. Harry couldn't do enough and was on hand if needed. We wanted somewhere quiet to decompress after a really busy time, and wished we had booked for longer, We will definitely revisit the cottage. The studio was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and homely.

Nothing we didn't like, but my only suggestion would be an air fryer.

Outstanding and relaxed break

Lovely hosts, fantastic location, wanted a break away from the norm and Cobstone cottage was perfect for the reset. Everything you need, bed was so comfy, never wanted to get out of it. Whole place had a lovely relaxed vibe to it for cosy nights by the fire.

Road heading up is a little bumpy in parts, drive slowly and youll be fine, its more than worth the drive when you arrive.

Sunny days 😎

The location of this property was just perfect, right in the middle of the countryside with lots of walks available without getting in to the car. The car parking underneath the decking was just brilliant, along with the electric gates at the entrance, really cool 😎 The single bedroom was huge and had an amazingly comfortable bed 🛏️, it was huge. It's a fantastic place for couples wanting privacy and quiet time and if you've got dogs 🐕 then the garden is ace.

The only downside was the kitchen which which wasn't very well equipped, a lack of glasses, and serving spoons for meal times. There's also no freezer or washing machine for longer stays. This was the only thing other than the approach road which is rather rough in anything other than a 4x4.

Loved Cobstone cottage! Spotlessly clean, cosy and warm, with parking at the door, comfortable bed, soft linen, and well equipped kitchen topped with stunning views , what more can you ask for.

Cozy, comfy and pleasent time away.

The location was perfect for us to see family near by and the time spent at the cottage was very cozy and pleasent it felt like a nice break from work with all the facilities need on sight.

The only down side of this cottage was the road leading to it which had lot of potholes, some filled some quite big. Saying that even in my low sporty car there was no damage we just needed to go slow and didnt want to travel back and forth to much.

Best weekend getaway

Very comfortable, cozy, warm, lovely setting with an open plan wood fired log burner. Bathroom had under floor heating and the bedroom was absolutely lovely.

Perfect cosy weeekend getaway

The property was very homely and cosy, perfect for a weekend getaway. The cottage itself was lovely and clean and had everything you needed. The host was really friendly and the instructions to find the property were really helpful!

The roads leading up to the property are quite bad country lanes with potholes, we were aware of this beforehand so it didn’t bother us as much.

We loved Cobstone cottage and will stay there again

Cobstone Cottage is absolutely beautiful, within a lovely setting. Lovely spacious rooms, light and airy.

We were unable to get any hot water out of the taps, also some of the glasses and cups were dirty.

Very welcoming atmosphere, beautiful scenery and felt at home!

Very comfortable, cleanliness was exceptional! Was very warm inside the house.

WiFi kept disconnecting. No hot water for the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink.

Perfect - exactly what we needed!

Spacious, clean and had everything you required. The views are beautiful, balcony is perfect. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to escape the noise. Inside equally as beautiful, everything comfortable and could not fault it.

Had no issues. The window didn’t cause any problems with the light - the main ones covered and the side one didn’t bother us at all. Was nice to look and see the sparrows.

Wonderful host very friendly and welcoming.

The location of the property is outstanding . The views are wonderful . You can watch the sunrise through the beautiful round window and the sunset on the elavated deck at the front of the property

Lovely quiet property with great views and facilities

A lovely cottage in a quiet location with great views. Great facilities. Bed was comfortable. Shower, albeit electric, was powerful and plenty of hot water. Great WiFi and a large TV. Kitchen had a good selection of cooking and eating implements.

Large sofa opposite TV so low it was a struggle to get up from. Hot water at kitchen sink not particularly hot. Access road up the hill in very poor condition with many potholes.

Relaxing break

It is lovely and spacious. The setting is beautiful & very tranquil.

One of the bedroom windows can’t be covered so it is bright early in the morning. If you aren’t an early riser then a sleep mask might be needed!

Stunning hone away from home

Love the location of this property the views and setting are outstanding, and it's stunning inside, very well equipped and spacious . Definitely my fave place to stay when I'm visiting family and look forward to returning very soon

Can't think of anything we didn't like about any of our stays the only thing I would say is missing is a freezer as i like ice but we managed to buy some close to property and it kept well in fridge

Stunning rural getaway ✨️

This property is stunning set in beautiful grounds perfect for a nice relaxed getaway. From the moment we arrived it literally felt like a home away from home. The views are amazing and the apartment was well equipped .Host was great and really helpful and welcoming Can't wait to return and highly recommend
