To have been advised that there was an alarm, it took about 10 minutes to turn off , tried to contact the number but no reply

A clean ,well equipped and comfortable property with plenty of room for three adults
I liked the location and the house was comfortable and well equipped.
I didn’t appreciate the mix up with check in.We arrived at 3.30 at the property after I had messaged the owner to ask for the lockbox code without reply. On arrival I tried to phone the owner and his number went straight to voicemail and we then had to contact booking.com who also couldn’t get through to the owner . We had travelled from Northampton for a party and could not find anywhere else to stay .Eventually the owner responded and we were able to get in . It was not a great start to the stay.

Lovely home from home... miles better than staying at the usual places like Premier Inn etc.
