Breakfast was great, location amazing close walk to hot springs, shops and restaurants. Fireplace in dining room lovely. very modern well presented rooms. Loved the onsen in the hotel.

Here's a polished version for a review: Everything was great – I loved my stay! One small suggestion: it would have been helpful if reception had explained the procedure for housekeeping, such as where to place used towels, yukata and rubbish each day. I wasn't sure whether these should be left in the room or outside the door. A simple information sheet or guest handbook would be very useful, covering things such as: * Wi-Fi details * When and where to wear the yukata * When to change the yukata * Where to place rubbish, used towels and yukata * General ryokan etiquette and guest information As an international visitor, and someone who tends to forget verbal instructions. Many hotels provide a small handout or compendium, which would make the guest experience even better. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

The location is perfect, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Plus, the guest room was comfortable, hot spring is wonderful!
