30m from the sea - La terrazza sul mare

Amazing location in a quiet zone just by the water. The apartment is spacious and very clean, equipped with anything you might need. The contact with host bad very good!

L appartement est très bien situé avec accès direct à la plage. La résidence est très bien entretenue et très calme en avril… Les enfants peuvent jouer dans le parc en sécurité L appartement a une très belle terrasse. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée il ne manque rien. L accueil d Emanuele a été parfait, et il reste disponible pendant tout le séjour.

Les salles de bains sont vraiment rustiques. Les douches minuscules. La robinetterie aléatoire. La literie mériterait d être modernisée : matelas très dur, draps rêches et vieilles couvertures..,

The location is beautiful and the apartment has a lovely balcony with a great view. Emanuele was our contact with the agency and he was extremely helpful and communicative throughout our stay. He arranged for us to check in early too so we could leave our suitcase which was much appreciated. We really enjoyed the wildlife watching a resident Little Owl as well as lots of other birds. The beach was tranquil and we enjoyed bathing regularly as the water was beautiful to swim in. No crowded beaches made it a very relaxing experience

Although the grounds were lovely, the complex itself seemed a little dated and our apartment was very tired looking. The key safe was really difficult to get into. The bathroom tap in the small shower room was broken, the glass bedside shelf was broken in one of the bedrooms. One of the beds was very creaky if you moved around There were 2 showers but hot water only seemed to work in one of them and they were cramped and old. There seemed to be alot of rules and threats of fines if things weren't adhered to regarding rubbish etc. Although some bottled water was left in the fridge, there were no food 'extras' to welcome you. No kettle or tea towels or cloths for washing up. This property was NOT good value for money at over 200 euros per night. On top of that we had to pay for our bed linen and towels at an additional cost of 25 euros per person (although Emanuele reduced it slightly for us) and only one bed had been made up for us. The sheets also had holes in them. There is also a nightly tourist tax charge to pay as well which is probably standard Be aware that Punta Asfodeli is quite remote if you don't have a car. We didn't. It was well over an hours round trip on foot to get provisons and there are very few places to eat within walking distance. Taxis are very expensive and difficult to book and public transport was non existent.
