About this cottage rental
SeaGlass Cottage sits right on the edge of Linekin Bay — a truly magical retreat surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Enjoy panoramic water views from throughout the cottage, spectacular sunsets, and a massive 200-foot deep-water dock complete with a large sundeck and rocky tidal area. Bring your kayak or paddleboard and make the most of direct water access. You may even find some treasures along the shore like buoys and shells — though despite the name, seaglass is one thing you won't find here!
This is a perfect, private Maine escape.

A note on access: Guests park near the owner's home and walk down an unpaved path of about 85 yards to the cottage below. The owner's friendly little dog, Linnie, may pop out to say hello along the way. The cottage itself is completely private — the two properties are not visible to each other. The owner does keep her boat at the dock, but she considers the entire waterfront area your private space and will only pass through on rare occasions to access it.
Also, the bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase and the bathroom is on the main level. There are vaulted ceilings and low ceiling heights in a few spots like the shower and screened-in porch. People over 6’2” may feel a little cramped.
Please note that all guests are required to sign a rental agreement within 48 hours of booking.

SeaGlass Cottage is one of my favorite places on earth. It feels like a fairy tale house. The owner Kelly Robbins always has everything looking brand new. I’m sure it’s not for everyone. The cottage is small and there is a fairly steep hill to negotiate, but the hill is what insures the privacy. Nothing I can say would reflect my feelings for Sea Glass cottage other than true love. Looking forward to next year.

We absolutely loved “Sea Glass!” It is a quaint cottage, perched on the edge of Linekin Bay, and built right into the rocks…affording a breathtaking, panoramic view of the bay. The setting was private and calming, and we spent much of our time there relaxing out on the deck. The house itself provides views from indoors, as well as out and was well-stocked with all you could need. The upstairs bed was comfortable, and luxuriously decked out with crisp white down pillows, comforter and duvet. It was my favorite space in the house with a beautiful view of the water! Finally, East Boothbay is truly one of my favorite places in Maine. It is a sleepy hamlet that runs along the bay, with stunning views wherever you turn. We hope to return!
