Our host Fiona was very friendly and accommodating and the lovely heritage cottage was charming and cosy. The wood-burning stove and electric blankets were most welcome during the cold nights. We enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Liked the fact that there was a indoor fireplace that kept the place nice and warm, as it is winter. The location to the village was on the outskirts that made the stay nice and peaceful. The reassurance that the village, in general was low in crime which made the stay more comfortable.

The location is perfect and walking distance to restaurants and to the Saturday market! The cottage is absolutely lovely, historical and so cozy with a fireplace for the chilly nights. It also has everything you need to stay more than comfortable. There is a gas braai, but we ended up getting some of the best pizza from Tebaldi's @ Temenos just down the road. The bed is also great! It was a perfect weekend away. Can't wait to go back!

The Location and cute nature of the historical cottage.

Everything you would need for your stay.
The weather was severely hot this time of year, but this is obviously not in relation to the property. They did provide fans etc. Perfect spot in the winter.
That the front door couldn't be completely opened. This faces the street - thus to get out you had to go through the garage , not a train smash but would have been better to be able to use the front door fully - top half can be opened.
