    This quest house is awful they have tried to do the place up with little success On arrival a man appeared and all he said was ID no hello how’s your Fannie Feeling flustered I was trying to get my ID out and he just kept repeating ID. My son said your not staying here as the man was trying to intimidate us we had our mom and dad who are both disabled and 87 yrs oldHe gave me a piece of paper with a code for the door to our rooms not explaining what to do We had a room for three adults should of been a double bed and a single only a double was in the room with a sofa not a sofa bed no linen for sofa when asked he stating he had none and walked off It really was a terrible place if this was a urvision contest it would be a 0 from us

    Booked a superior room. It was in the ground floor, these are possibly newly built rooms. No reception had to get the manager phoned to check in. Room - very low spec. Tiny room slightly bigger than the bed with a tiny window opening to the pub next door. Had a shower which was cold - messaged the manager via the phone number at reception. - no response. I said if It couldn't be sorted ie given the proper "superior" room with a, working hot shower i'd have to get somewhere else. Which I did. Got a response stating I'd not complained in time. - (remember there's no reception.) There are many hotels in Eastbourne, that are worth your time and comfort.

    Stayed at Sea Shell Hotel once again and it was a pleasant experience. Clean room, friendly staff, and a comfortable stay overall. Always a good choice.

    I booked 16 days to recover from a virus; after 4 days my room had not been serviced, owner informed me that costs £20 extra every time requested(therefore no tea/coffee etc; no clean sheets nor towels; no cleaning) not what I expect from a hotel charging high off-season prices, also no hotel kitchen. It is a building site with workers occupying rooms (04.30am movement); room & bathroom tiny & not well finished (bedside light broken on wall), toilet juts into room. Excellent view & TV.
