Convenient to public beach access.
There was a hose to wash off sandy stuff outside which was nice.
The AC worked great.
The quiet hours seemed well enforced.
There’s a nice bench table right outside the door.
The ironing board was a tiny tabletop board, so don’t plan to iron any actual clothing on it, and the iron itself was so archaic. The kitchen garbage can is too small, so we had to take it out a ton of times. The sand is unavoidable, it would have been nice to have a stick vacuum in the closet because the floors and beds were constantly sandy despite my best efforts to sweep and rinse off outside.
Would have been a nice perk if the property included a couple beach chairs, but it doesn’t.
The dealbreaker for me is there is NO bathroom counter space. You cannot do girl hair there, nowhere to set a brush, dryer, curling iron etc. So plan for crazy hair and wrinkled clothes.
The bed was rock hard. I guess some people like that, but it was horrible sleep for me.
The closet could have easily fit a washer dryer combo, so that was a missed opportunity. We didn’t use the communal laundry area because I don’t want to spend my time down there monitoring my belongings.
If you stay on the 2nd floor, know there isn’t an elevator, so you’re going to be lugging everything up lots of narrow wooden stairs. I got a discount because it was a new property listing, but had I not, I wouldn’t have booked here due to the haul up and down the stairs.
