To Portoni Guesthouse

Maurita e Salvatore sono due host incredibili! Disponibili, attenti, e super gentili. La camera era pulitissima e dotata di ogni comfort, letto comodissimo, disponibile macchina per il caffè (sono stati carinissimi a farci trovare delle cialde e delle monoporzioni per le prime colazioni e una bottiglia di acqua fresca) e condizionatore. La camera è altresì dotata di mini frigo con piccolo congelatore. Il piccolo patio esterno è estremamente grazioso e comodo, con anche disponibile lo stendino, un barbecue e un divanetto oltre a un tavolino e due sedie. Menzione d’onore al fatto che sono proprietari anche di un piccolo ristorante attaccato alla struttura dove fanno cucina tipica qualitativamente eccezionale.

Niente, era tutto top

The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt brand new. It has a huge terrace, efficient air conditioning, and has been recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Every detail has been carefully thought out: from the spacious wardrobe with plenty of storage to the convenient shelves in the bathroom. The terrace is large and furnished with plenty of comfortable seating. Right next to the accommodation is a great restaurant run by the same owner, which adds even more charm to the experience. Restaurant is decently priced and has vegetarian options. This is a place with real soul, created with great care and attention to detail. I will happily stay here again :)

Everything was perfect

The guesthouse is situated in Poros, a unique traditional Greek village. Far from the touristy places in Lefkada, Poros is the go-to place for a quiet and peaceful tourism. The price-quality ratio is over the top. The room is spacious and has everything you would need for a summer trip. Salvatore is a great host with a very decent attitude towards the guests. In addition, the tavern is right beside the guesthouse and offers very delicious Greek cuisine.

There is no hob/microwave for cooking. This could be a bit of a disadvantage for a longer stay, but I wouldn't consider this a hustle, as the taverna offers delicious food at reasonable prices.

Bellissima camera nello squisito paesino di Poros. Abbiamo soggiornato 5 notti nella stanza Amigdala, e devo essere sincero siamo stati davvero molto bene, una stanzetta con tutto l’essenziale, pulita e un bagno ancor più bello. Presenta una piccola cucinetta con un bollitore, che usato con intelligenza può rivelarsi un ottimo alleato, in più era compreso anche un po’ di colazione ed è stato molto apprezzato. I padroni sono stati sempre disponibili e gentilissimi, inoltre hanno anche un bellissimo e buonissimo ristorantino (di cucina greca), nei pressi della guesthouse. Il tutto è circondato da dei meravigliosi gattini che vi accoglieranno nel paesino.

Certo la posizione non è delle migliori e poco facilmente si riesce a trovare, ma è un qualcosa che si può raggirare con un po’ di pazienza.
