Beachcomber Cabin Dog Friendly - Anderby Creek

Considering its pet/dog friendly the accommodation was very clean and didn't smell of previous visitors. All facilities in good working order. The beach a pleasant 5mins stroll. The restaurant/bar literally 200mtrs away served good bar food and a decent selection of drinks. All facilities in good working order and owner very receptive and helpful to our phone queries

Neighbours dog barking on second night about 2am. but we think the site manager spoke to him the following morning and resolved the situation. Someone from across the way gave us a lovely view of there vehicle parking it right outside the large window our caravan. Curtains a little threadbare, could do with changing.

A wonderful place—peace and quiet. Very comfortable beds, and everything you need is right there. I highly, highly recommend it; we will definitely be back.

The beachcomber was lovely, clean and spacious and in an amazing location

The boiler was broken so we had no hot water or heating. The host did advise us that he could move us the following day close by or that day 2 miles away. We chose to stick with the holiday we booked and move the next day. We couldn’t wash or warm up at night or in the morning, there wasn’t much that could be done so we were understanding. The host did offer us a free night in the new caravan but we had work and to be honest the state of the replacement meant I was glad we declined. The next day we had to repack and were moved to a much smaller more outdated caravan that was filthy and had no wifi (wasn’t ready until around 2:30pm). The children had to share a bed so no one got much sleep. I did contact the host and request a portion of our cost refunded but I’ve been ignored. Not even an apology. It really is a shame because we definitely would have been back, even with the broken boiler (which I assume would have been fixed by then). I’m pretty sure we left the replacement caravan cleaner than we found it.
