Villa Rosewood

Villa Rosewood is completely new, super clean, comfortable bed and comes with a good shower and water pressure. I booked a room upstairs as I prefer brighter rooms. I had a table outside I sometimes used for getting work done when it was not too hot outside. WiFi was very good, fiber, I think it was about 45MBit down and 25MBit up. I chatted with the owners quite a bit who are just so lovely. A filter for drinking water is provided which I think is very important and very good. It's around 20 minutes to walk to the center and as I was here off-season many places around were shut down or empty. In that case you probably want to go more often to the center. Nice walk during the day, use a flashlight during the night.

Check for yourself if the location is fine for you, during off-season you probably want to walk to the center more often which takes around 20 minutes

Beautiful big room with comfortable bed and great shower, lots of sunshine and light in the room but good aircon so it stays cool. Quiet cosy setting, and helpful staff. It’s very clean!

Perhaps a little far away from the beach/main area of Hiriketiya - so you would need a tuk tuk. However, this was also nice to be tucked away in a quiet location
