The Old Stables

This home was amazing. It was by far our favorite stay throughout everywhere we visited in Scotland. There was lots of room, incredibly comfortable, stylish and luxurious touches, and a warm welcome package from the host. The town of Fort Augustus is also fun to visit, the Canal locks are busy, there are fun shops (a glassworker!) and beautiful loch views. We would have stayed longer if we had known how much we would love it! We didn't notice it in the description but there was even a washing machine.

Everything was wonderful.

La casa e' curata nei minimi dettagli in tutto, dagli arredi eleganti, alla tappezzeria, alla cucina dotata di tutto. Peccato che abbiamo soggiornato soltanto una notte in questa splendida casa. Ci ritornerei e la consiglierei a tutti. Stupenda.

Nulla. Tutto era perfetto.

Wir haben hier ganz kurzfristig gebucht (20.30 Uhr am gleichen Abend der Übernachtung), bekamen gleich alle wichtigen Infos (sehr gute Kommunikation) und betraten dieses Haus. Wir waren hellauf begeistert, eine super Aufteilung (2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder), eine Mega-Ausstattung, alles toll aufeinander abgestimmt und eine perfekt ausgestattete Küche (mit vielen zusätzlichen Annehmlichkeiten). Sogar ein Willkommensgeschenk war für uns da. Wir wollten gleich nach dem Kaufpreis fragen und hier bleiben. Einfach herrlich.

Was man wissen sollte ist, dass man die Haustüre abschließt, indem man den Türgriff nach oben drückt. Die Zufahrt ist relativ schmal, aber machbar (einfach langsam fahren)

Quiet, comfortable and with all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. A five minute walk from the centre of the village. Hosts were very welcoming with a few things to improve our stay on arrival.
