Big room in Charming Guest House in Oslo City 5

The house is situated in a beautiful neighborhood. Our room was clean, big and comfortable.

While our room was clean, the common areas were noticeably dusty and unkempt, which detracted from the overall experience. We were provided with only two small towels, and despite sending two messages to the host via the Booking messaging platform, we did not receive a response.

The place and all facilities inside are amazing. The are kettle, coffee machine, all sort of cups, plates, pans and pots.

1. Guests can be noisy and disturb sleep, especially if you choose a big room next to the shared living area. I wouldn’t recommend booking it, particularly in winter. This could be solved very easily at no cost by introducing a rule like: “quiet hours from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.” I don’t understand why this isn’t done — I already read about this issue in previous reviews. 2. The floor in the shower is cold; it would be great to add a mat. There is also some clutter from the owners’ personal items around, which gives the feeling of entering someone’s storage room rather than a guest space. 3. Notes agout trash sorting would be helpful. Previously Guests throw the same trash into all bins, and it’s not clear how the sorting is supposed to work.

Location was perfect for a conference at the Fram Museum, and convenient enough to get into the city easily. There's a bus stop right in front of the house!

The room was an addition to the main house and a little chilly, even with the extra heater going. I live in a cold house so it was perfect for me (I find most Scandinavian buildings too warm) but people who like it warmer might find it uncomfortable in the winter.
