The host, Peter, was super friendly and welcoming, offering advice on what to see and do in Oslo. Flat was perfect for one person, small but clean and comfortable, and very central- pretty much walked everywhere.

Great location! It's a very quiet area close to almost everything. Parking just outside, however the price is about 345,- per day (Sundays are free). Found a much cheaper parking area about 30-40 mins. walk (still close to the city centre). 245,- per. week! (Kongens P-plass, Frognerstranda). The host/owner is an easy going guy. Be aware that you share everything (kitchen, bathroom and living room) except the bedroom with the owner who lives there. Linen and towels are included, which is great!
The kitchen and the entrance hall smell of deep-fried food or burnt oil.
