Urlaubsresidenz Schlossblick

Das Haus ist großartig, modern und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Eine Erstausstattung zum Urlaubsbeginn (Kaffee, Tee, Spülmittel etc.) ist wohlüberlegt vorhanden. Kleine Überraschungen in Form einer persönlichen Begrüßung und Giveaways sorgen dafür, dass man sich rundum wohl fühlt. Ein Besuch des in unmittelbarer Nähe gelegenen Schlosses ist unbedingt empfehlenswert, auch mit Kindern aufgrund der interaktiven Führung mittels Tablets.

Die Terrasse Grenz unmittelbar an die daneben und darüber liegende Terrasse der Nachbarn. Das sollte einem bewusst sein. Die Nachbarn waren bei unserem Besuch jedoch nicht zu sehen.

I met Yvonne and her husband as I went to the property early as we’d arrived early. They were both lovely and very helpful and allowed us to access the property earlier. The house is beautiful, and had been modernised to a very high standard. The decor and attention to detail is amazing. Facilities were excellent and everything is provided however the only thing missing was washing detergent, so we had to buy some and leave some as travelling on a motorcycle touring you don’t want to carry washing detergent. The outside space is lovely and it was so nice on our first night to sit out and look up at the castle all lit up. However there are some negatives about the outside space as mentioned below.

There are two terraces, one on the ground floor albeit you don’t get any sun. The second one is on level with the lounge and kitchen and is the main one. Whilst it is lovely and the furniture is high standard we were surprised as to the lack of privacy to next door neighbours, there really should be a higher divide to give both guests and the neighbours privacy. The top terrace with the views is also not part of this properly and cannot be issued as it belongs to the neighbours, this should be made clearer in the description as the photos show this terrace and views from it. Whilst you cannot expect neighbours who live here to be quiet, it was slightly annoying that the neighbour was watching a football match outside the day we arrived and then the next night he had guests and a barbecue, so we sat inside for some peace and quiet. That was a bit disappointing. Our only other criticism is the parking, we prefer to park our motorcycles next to the property we stay in, the description indicated that parking was at the side of the house, it was not.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Für Fahrradtouren ist es ein idealer Ausgangsort, zumal die Räder sicher im Schuppen untergebracht werden können. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, die Vermieter kümmern sich sehr um die Besucher. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die schön gestaltete Terrasse.

In der Beschreibung ist nicht erwähnt, dass die beiden Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss nur durch einen Vorhang getrennt sind.

Wir sind mit einer 7-köpfigen Familie (3 Generationen) angereist und haben uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt in diesem sehr modern und bequem eingerichteten Haus mit vielen liebevoll gestalteten Details. Es gab nichts, was es nicht gab. Selbst in einem kleinen alten Haus an einer Stadtmauer aufgewachsen, war es erstaunlich zu sehen, wie optimal und wunderschön ein solches Haus renoviert werden kann. Ein Highlight ist sicher die großzügige Terrasse mit Blick auf das Schloss von unten nach oben. Das Bad mit Sauna ist ein Traum. Lobend ist auch der Kontakt zu den Eigentümern der Wohnung zu erwähnen, welche geduldig Fragen beantwortet haben und interessante Extra- Informationen zum Aufenthalt gegeben haben.
