Asgard Fight, Fitness & Wellness Resort All-Inclusive

My week at Asgard Wellness Retreat was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed into something much more than just a wellness retreat. The variety of classes is exceptional. Whether it was Pilates, yoga, boxing, kickboxing, or the heat sessions, every class was led by passionate coaches who genuinely care about helping you become a better version of yourself. Combined with the recovery facilities: sauna, ice baths, and everything else, you have everything you need to reset both your body and mind. You quickly understand where your money goes. The quality of the facilities, the coaching, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail make every moment worthwhile. If you’re looking for a place to recharge, reconnect, and leave feeling healthier and stronger than when you arrived, this is it. What truly makes Asgard special, though, is the people. Every member of the team welcomes you with such warmth that within a day or two, you no longer feel like a guest, you feel like FAMILY. That kind of genuine kindness is rare and simply priceless. Thank you to every single person at Asgard for creating such a special place. I’ll definitely be back.

One small thing I initially thought I would miss was having a TV in the room. At first, I found it a little disappointing. But after a day or two, I completely understood why there isn’t one. Asgard is designed to get you out of your room to train, recover, connect with people, and be fully present. In the end, I realized a TV would have only distracted from the experience, and I actually appreciated not having one.

The hotel was amazing. The room I had booked was huge (seriously you could do cartwheels in there) and the balcony overlooked the rest of the property and had a view of the sunrise which was an added bonus. The staff were very friendly (shout out to Eric, Darryl, Lu, Coach Kim and Mike and Jahleel) and made me feel at home. The classes were great (I did Muay Thai everyday I was there) and the gym + recovery facilities were very clean and well-kept. I ended up extending my stay to 4-nights with zero regrets and wish I could've stayed longer. Honestly can't wait to go back and stay there again!

Not a dealbreaker, but there were only rolling in their food offerings during my stay. It would’ve have been great to have had some pastries for breakfast in addition to the yummy acai bowls they had. But not a big problem as there are cafes just close to the property.

My time at Asgard is certainly one of my favorite experiences in recent memory. I attended a BJJ Seminar under DeAndre Corbe and was mesmerized by the energy of like minded Filipinos and BJJ enthusiast that filled up the mats. As for the Resort itself, I was impressed by the quality of fitness and recovery equipment at the facility, particularly the cold plunge tubs. I regularly cold plunge and the water needs to be a certain temperature for me to feel the recovery effects. Needless to say, it was colder than I expected and met my needs. Cold plunge and sauna is a must in my recovery process and Asgard has just that. The room I booked was very spacious, the A/C worked perfectly my entire stay, and the bed mattress was very comfy. The location worked just fine for me, mainly because everything is relatively close as far as restaurants/cafes, and if there is other area on the island you need to get to, you can easily walk to the street and find a tuktuk driver or the resort itself can lend you one to ride yourself. Airport is roughly 40 min drive which there is a transport van that you can schedule with the front desk. There is a snack bar/café where you can purchase smoothies and different forms of protein. My favorite so far is their 'Banana Drama' smoothie. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, always have positive attitudes. You can tell they are like a big family and I was treated like i was a part of that family, which is a breath of fresh air when it comes to any hotel establishment. I hope everyone that stays at Asgard, have a similar experience if not better, and build the lifelong connections with people like I have in the short time I was there. Overall, my first experience at Asgard is not going to be my last, I promise you that!

That i couldnt stay longer

Staff are very friendly, the place is very clean and well maintained, just a few mins away from the good places & restaurants.Classes & Coaches are very accommodating and engaging. If you enjoy fitness & combat sports this place is a paradise.
