No hot water for long periods of time and sometime loud noises nearby

We stayed at Kalo Villa in Siargao, and it was a fabulous experience from start to finish. Since it is still new, the property is absolutely gorgeous, and you can tell the spaces were designed very well. ​The Property & Atmosphere The layout is perfect, featuring 5 beautiful casitas centered around a fantastic main pool. It feels so nice and incredibly serene. No crowds, no big breakfast rush. Just peace. There is also a great common kitchen and lounging space, which was the perfect spot to meet and hang out with other guests. ​Service & Dining The staff truly went above and beyond—they were so nice, friendly, and accommodating throughout our entire visit. Ms Lea made sure we were well taken care of. We tried both the Continental and traditional Filipino breakfasts during our mornings here, and both were absolutely delicious. ​Overall, we had a fabulous stay. I highly recommend Kalo Villa to anyone looking for a beautifully designed and relaxing getaway in Siargao!

We had an amazing stay at Kalo Villa. We stayed for five nights and honestly wish we had stayed longer. The villa is beautifully decorated—stylish, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The staff were fantastic, especially Joy and Rose, who were incredibly helpful, polite, and always greeted us with a smile. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. If you’re looking for a quiet place to rest and unwind, this is the perfect spot. The location worked really well for us—just a 5–10 minute scooter ride to Catangnan and General Luna for restaurants, drinks, and nightlife, while still being far enough away to avoid traffic and late-night noise.
