The entire rental house in the Arashiyama area of Kyoto is perfect for those who want to enjoy the rich cultural heritage of Japan.Located right next to Tenryu-ji Temple, famous for its World Heritage Site, renovated traditional wooden architecture in a contemporary style, the property is a design that combines history and modern charm.You can overlook the dry landscape gardens of the former Kobayashi family residence, a designated cultural property of Kyoto Prefecture, and you will be healed by the quiet scenery.

It can accommodate up to 6 guests and is ideal for friends or family trips.Enjoy the history and culture of Kyoto in this special accommodation with modern comfort while strolling through Arashiyama's tourist attractions, old temples and shrines, and strolling through the paths of the bamboo forest, while enjoying the beauty of the good old Japan.
The space
Located in the heart of Arashiyama, Kyoto (Bamboo Forest is within walking distance and Tenryuji Temple is right in front of you).The facilities are up-to-date and have a comfortable living room, a Japanese-style room with two bedrooms and a bedroom, a kitchen, and a dining area.There is a bathroom and shower with a large stone bathtub, and a washlet toilet on the ground floor, and a shower room and washlet toilet on the second floor, so you can also use it for multiple groups.
From the large window on the second floor, you can see the beautiful dry landscape garden, and you can feel the shift of the four seasons of Japan.
Find a photo of a memorable dragon to find a lucky dragon drawn with a brush in the entrance.
This tranquil setting provides the best stay experience for all guests visiting Kyoto.
Other things to note
Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and outdoors.
Fire is strictly prohibited because it is an area with many traditional wooden buildings.
Please avoid using aromas or incense that emits a strong smell.
There is no parking lot, so please use public transportation.
Breakfast will be delivered to 8:30 AM from "Bread and Espresso Arashiyama Garden".
* Ring the chime, but if you do not respond, we will enter the room and set it on the dining table.
Room cleaning will not be done during consecutive nights.
* For 3 nights or more, it may be possible to clean every 3 nights between 11: 00 and 15: 00, so please inquire at least 2 days before arrival if you wish to do so.

What a beautiful stay. This is a lovely villa in a secluded, but not isolated, area. It IS a drive into Kyoto city, but SO much more peaceful and really felt like we were IN Japan. Wander the narrow alleyways to find lovely meals in quiet, elegant eateries. A short walk to the tourist street if that's your thing. Adjacent to a gorgeous temple and beyond it the famed bamboo forest. Also a short walk to the Togetsu bridge, the public onsen and the fun (though steep) hike to the monkey park. Ideal for two couples, though the steep steps might be tougher for some with physical limitations or small children. We were greeted by Mari, who is a wonderful hostess and had ready answers to all questions. Don't miss the fabulous breakfast; it's not just "bread and coffee" but the most fantastic spread we had during our two weeks in Japan. So very glad we found this wonderful place and would absolutely choose it again-- 100%!!!

We had such a lovely time at the villa. It was modern meets traditional and the property manager was so responsive and helpful throughout our stay. This was our first time in Kyoto and we were just so pleased. If you are thinking of booking this space, I fully recommend that you do!
