This stunning 6 bedroom home is just beautiful! Hardwood floor throughout, spacious bedrooms, a great game room, hot tub, and views to take your breath away!
This contemporary oceanfront home features an open concept, unique glass atrium perfect for watching colorful sunrises in the morning or star gazing at night, multiple outdoor terraces, an eye-catching open staircase giving the sense of spaciousness and freedom, high ceilings, sparkling ocean views, and numerous window designs allowing for lots of natural light. The entire home was thoughtfully designed and meticulously planned. The main level offers a great room with a wood burning fireplace, wet bar, a 2nd gathering area, all with horizon ocean views, large kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and the dining room is perched under the glass atrium with million dollar nature views. There are 4 bedrooms on this level; 2 of which share a Jack and Jill Bath, and 2 share a full hall bathroom with laundry. Off the great room is a private boardwalk to the beach featuring a dune top deck. The top level includes 2 master suites with 9' ceilings, and pampering en-suites. The east facing master bedroom has not one, but two, private deck accesses. One on the east side, and one on the south side. The very top level has a jetted tub with expansive ocean and beach views. Ground level offers 2 carports with a dry entry. This home isn't your typical reverse floor plan with kitchen and living area on the top level, the main living area is on mid level and great for guests who do not like stairs. Stunning views, great location, and unique features. Located near Jockey's Ridge State Park and has great views for Kites with Lights at Christmas, and watching the hang gliders year round. Our family had a great time at this beach house overall. The location was excellent—easy to access, plenty of parking, and just a short, convenient walk to the beach, which we really appreciated. The house itself had more than enough space for our group of 7, and the layout worked well for both kids and adults to spread out and relax.That said, the home shows signs of being a very high-traffic rental. There were small wear-and-tear issues throughout—loose drawer knobs, minor scuffs, and general signs of age that could use attention. The kitchen was functional but oddly understocked: no salt and a lack of basic utensils like cereal spoons, which made meal prep a little frustrating.Check-in was the most confusing part of our stay. We never received the promised email with instructions, so I had to call on the day of arrival. The company directed us to an office 20 minutes away to pick up a key, but when we got there, the office was empty—just a packet with a code. It turned out we didn’t need to go there at all. It would’ve been much smoother if they'd clarified that upfront.We also had an issue with the grill—it was dangerously dirty and unusable. I contacted the rental company but got no response. However, they did come clean it without letting us know, which was a bit odd but ultimately helpful. In general, their communication was inconsistent: they were responsive in action, but not in words.Check-out was simple and straightforward.All in all, I’d recommend this property for the great location and ample space, especially if you’re flexible and don’t mind a few imperfections. Just be prepared to improvise a bit and double-check logistics with the rental company.
