The location was very convenient, and the apartment itself was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Check-in was easy and everything in the apartment worked well.

The bed was a little too small for me, so I didn’t find it very comfortable. Also, there was a strong unpleasant smell in the communal entrance and hallway leading all the way up to the apartment door. Fortunately, there was no smell inside the apartment itself.

Friendly and responsive owner: Communication was excellent Quick problem-solving: The host replied very promptly when messaged in the morning Great location for essentials: There is a Morrisons supermarket conveniently located right on the corner Well-equipped overall: Aside from the dining space, the flat had everything we needed. Good nighttime peace: The street quieted down at night, allowing us to feel safe enough to stay.

Limited dining furniture: The apartment accommodates six people, but it only has a dining table and chairs for four. Dodgy light switch: The living room lights didn't work at first because the switch is a bit finicky. Confusing kitchen layout: We couldn't find any mugs or glasses on our first night because the cupboard looks like a plain white box over the sink. It opens from the bottom rather than the side. A small label on the door would make it much easier for guests to figure out!Building accessibility: Be aware that the building has a lot of stairs and the layout feels a bit like a maze Intimidating street environment: Local youths gather in the doorway all day, every day. At one point they were fighting with each other as we asked to get by so we could enter, and I suspect they were selling substances to the many unhoused people who were also on the street. While this is completely out of the owner's control, it did feel quite intimidating during the daytime. Fortunately, they were not around at night, or we would have considered moving to a hotel.

The host was so lovely to me and my cats and made sure we were very comfortable! I could not fault anything about the stay! The flat was lovely and clean, so spacious and really nice!
