This apartment is amazing - spacious, clean, well-appointed, well lit with angled skylight that let in flow-through fresh air, full complement of good appliances and cookware, close to grocery store, bakery, and downtown, large refrigerator, cooling fans, heaters, information guides, dedicated parking spot. Hosts are obviously well organized and thoughtful and they communicate well. We would love to live here.

We did not like leaving this wonderful apartment.

The directions were NOT very good/helpful so we were very frustrated trying to locate the apartment. While there was parking, we spent a lot of time trying to squeeze the car into the incredibly tight spot. One of the neighbors was great- she told us to leave the parking lot, turn the car around and backup through the lot and into the parking spot. This was really the only way the spot could be used. The apartment was very hot (big heat wave in France that week) but there was no A/C and the fans provided did not work at all. Fortunately we got a decent breeze when we opened the skylights. The sheets and blanket on the pull out bed were dirty with pieces of some sort of debris on them. Big cobwebs too. Pretty icky for our daughter to sleep on. We were requested to remove our shoes in the apartment but it was clear the floor had not been swept or mopped in some time as our bare feet were immediately dirty. The apartment has a lot of potential and the owners tried to make some things easy, including providing instructions for a table that could be converted into different sizes and heights. Unfortunately the other details overshadowed these. It turns out that we received a few long messages from the owners on afternoon of the day we were to arrive. We didn't see the messages until after we got in. They might have helped a bit, but the messages should be concise (maybe bulletized) and provided the night before. We had a long drive and try to stay off the phone when driving.
