Villa Bayeusaine city center & garden

lovely spacious house with large bedrooms and beds with ensuites. close to the town centre. kitchen was well equipped.

the fridge didnt get very cold. the shower in one room leaked. noisy til about 23-00hr because it was close to town. the wifi connection was poor which wasn't great with a teenager. would be useful to have a shade in the garden for lunchtime early evening which would help cool the kitchen as well.

Amazing location with high quality furniture, cotton sheets and pillows, soft towels, insulated windows, blackout curtains and high end bathroom fittings. Great shower with nice pressure. Very ingenious design. Our room had two levels and could have comfortably fit 4 people. Nice idea to have the kitchen as a separate entrance - easier to keep the sleeping and lounging areas separate. Location was hard to beat - close to everything in central Bayeux. Easy walking to all the amazing restaurants, bakeries, chocolatiers and ice cream parlors. We had no problems finding parking for the car on the road. The hostess was amazing. Great communication throughout the process, and then she met us at the door to give us the keys and show us through the property. The garden is magical. We would definitely come back.

The WiFi was somewhat spotty in places. An issue that would be easily resolvable with mesh WiFi routers. Our bed was weirdly a bit squeaky when one turned around. However, it had a super comfortable mattress, better than what I have found in high end hotels.

Vivi was a very attentive and helpful host. During a most unusual hot spell in northern France, she found fans that made the stay very comfortable.

Everything exceeded our expectations and made for a most wonderful place to explore Bayeux and the surrounding areas.

Everything, the location, the accommodation, the facilities were all fantastic.

Everything was perfect.
