La maison d'Eden - WEEKEND / HOLIDAY - WIFI / TV

The patio was a surprise. It is very big and was a great place to relax in the summer evening. The rooms were small but comfortable and everything was clean. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Bayeux.

We were surprised to find a spiral staircase with no railing to the bedrooms. It was a little precarious for my older mother, but she managed. There was no A/C so we had the windows open over a busy pedestrian zone so it was a little noisy but we are city people and had no trouble sleeping.

Superb location in the very heart of Bayeux, just a stone’s throw from the Cathedral. Great stay for our group of ten.

Non-functioning TV (remotes with depleted batteries), most of kitchenware required cleaning, thanks God the dishwasher is there.

Really liked the location. The property is above a restaurant, but we only heard noise (which was minimal) from outside not from below. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go within the city. Many, many restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries just minutes away from the front door. The garbage was easy to find. The house was super clean and had an amazing balcony off the kitchen area. The kitchen was well equipped - we found everything needed. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The shower was very spacious - something I appreciated given things seem to run small in France. The hosts were in constant communication, which I appreciated.

Can't really think of anything. Only problem we had was trying to turn on the TV one night during some down time - was trying to find the news. We couldn't figure it out but no big deal.
