Portuguese Charm Guesthouse by LovelyStay

I absolutely loved my time in Lisbon. I was a lone, female traveller so wanted somewhere safe to stay, that was close to most attractions. This guesthouse was absolutely perfect. The entrance is on a main square but the rooms are above a side street so you don't hear any noise. It's a really old building, with a lot of character. The rooms are on the 3rd or 4th floor and worth mentioning that there's no elevator. I found it easy to manage though. The room was small but was enough for a double bed, table, wardrobe/drawers and a small shower room. A fan is provided. There's a separate room with sofas, a table, fridge, kettle and coffee machine. Tea and coffee pods were provided but the coffee ran out after the 2nd day. No sink for filling the kettle but it's only next door to the rooms. There were a couple of issues with hall lighting and something else but I contacted the WhatsApp number and it got sorted. It a a 10 minutes walk from pretty much everywhere I wanted to visit, otherwise a tram/bus/metro which was just outside. Absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone. Photos show the front of the flats, with the castle behind, the market on the square and another where you can see the cathedral on the other side of the square.

I loved everything.

Very nice room with a small bathroom. The shared space was also nice and tidy. Amazing location and very friendly staff.

The bathroom was a bit small and there is no elevator.
