Easy to check in, instructions were clear. Big spacious modern house, with enough parking for 3 cars on car porch, no garage. Theres only 3 of us with one car so space is great. awesome location closeby to all the attractions we want to be at and only 5 minutes drive to Copthorne hotel where we had our dinner.

the place is freezing. its like being in an iced box. House is not insulated, not double glazed. doors and windows are drafty. one of the heatpumps in the living room is not working. There is a heatpump in each bedroom but it doesnt get fully warmed up. Floors is fully tiled so again freezing in the bathroom and in the bedrooms.. no electric blanket or hot water bottles to warm up the beds. the most annoying part is there is a limit to the hot water, u need to turn on a censor button on the wall, wait a few minutes for hot water to flow out of the tap or shower and it turned off automatically and gets cold again. Its like the host is obsessed with saving gas/ electricity that it made life difficult for us as guests. If you are used to the cold in NZ homes, then this is perfect for you! Still we would stay here in summer (not during winter)
