The amazing view, right on the Mekong!! The sunsets where so beautiful . Good location, easy to get everywhere. They pick you up and drop you of at pair which is great. Also hire bicycles and can organise foward transport. The room was clean and had amazing hot water and good size fridge .

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Dodan Studio and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The sunset views from the property are simply stunning and were one of the highlights of our trip. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The family who own and run the property are genuinely lovely and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is also excellent, within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, and everything you need. A special tip for future guests: don’t miss the sunset boat trip! It was a fantastic experience and the perfect way to end the day. Thank you for such a wonderful stay – we would happily return again.

Had a really lovely 5 day stay here. The rooms are spacious and clean with a huge comfortable bed. Aircon is very effective and the shower also excellent. There is a fridge in the room and free water and coffee sachets which was great for enjoying on the lovely balcony each morning. The sunsets from the balcony are also incredible. The owner is really friendly and helpful and speaks decent English. She can arrange pretty much anything from boat trips to laundry to cycle hire to onward travel from the island. She also picks you up from and drops you off at the pier for free in her tuk tuk. Please don’t be put off by the price being slightly higher than others on DD - this place is of a way better standard than anything else I saw and you won’t regret it.

The accomodation is very newly refurbished or created and in a very good shape. The staff offers a free Tuktuk pickup from the ferry which is helpful, even though the town center and ferry are only a short walk away. There is a fridge and water kettle with coffee and tea for free.

Hammocks are a little squeaky and hang a little too low so you cannot see the Mekong properly when lying in them. If you leave open food out there are many ants. You have to pay the accomodation in cash and keep in mind that there is no ATM on the island, so you need to get it in advance.
