Cosy Modern Studio

Great location close to the town centre and train station. Early check in was granted, friendly host, easy self check in (videos were sent prior to our arrival). Large studio but we felt it was a bit cluttered for a rental home, with all the ornaments and furniture in such a small space. Nice shower, free parking, modern new building. The studio was big but since it was open plan, it did not seem that big. Bedroom, kitchen and dining room all in the same space. The pictures reflect on that but it just felt like too many things had been placed in the studio. The bedside chest of drawers were almost impossible to open. Cheap furniture!

The biggest issue here for us was the elevator. This studio is on the ground floor up against the elevator. Every time the elevator landed on the ground floor, a bell could be heard and the automatic voice: ‘ground floor. Lift is going up’. This was in the night as well and after 5 days of listening to that, we were ready to leave! Not the owner’s fault but it has to be mentioned because had we known, we would NEVER have booked this studio. Upon arrival we noticed the overwhelming smell of air freshener (I have bad allergies). The bed was in a very weird position due to the studio being open plan and there was nowhere else to put it. The small bed was uncomfortable for 2 people and the pillows were bumpy and very uncomfortable as well. There was lots of noise from the hallway from the neighbours. Especially the family direct in front. The studio has no hallway so the noise could be heard from the studio as if the neighbours were inside the studio. The bath is very slippery and has no mat (an accident waiting to happen!) The toilet seat was hanging off one side (this was mentioned in another review in July 2025!!) The ‘dining room’ table was basically just a cheap small bar table with 2 cheap plastic chairs which did not stay in one place when sitting on them. A total nightmare to sit and eat like that and 2 plates could barely fit on the tiny table. The fan was dirty and the legs were unstable. The studio was very dark. There is only the door in a corner which opens out to the parking area and the blinds are black. This set up sadly did not work for us and we shall not return.

Decor to a high standard, cosy clean and had everything you need

Additional parking space but understand why this isn’t an option

Excellent property, good location. Very clean and tidy. Nice touch with supplying coffee etc

Nothing

Well equipped studio, clean and within walking distance to train station & town centre. Good communication from host.
